What systems are used

Following systems were used or significantly contributed to our study.

InQMS - Integrated Quality Management Systems

The project fulfills two roles:

  • Collect and archive data published by publishers
  • Evaluated metrics of the samples collected and validate the samples against respective (XML) schemas.

Thanks to this we have real insight into data published.

EuroRoaSt

  • Title: European Road Statistics
  • Abbreviation: EuroRoaSt

  • Mission: Collect and visualize traffic information about roadworks, accidents and incidents and from variable message signs from all around Europe.
  • Authors: Chrysostomos Mylonas & Maria Stavara from CERTH

This system was developed within NAPCORE activites preceding our DATEX@NAPs study and provided practical experience with collecting the traffic information and using it for presentation on map.

The application collects:

  • SituationPublications (“Events” and “Roadworks”)
  • VmsPublications (content presented on VMS)

NAP Data Availability Monitoring Tool

  • Mission: Let NAP providers declare how they do in different aspects of their service.

The system runs it’s own instance of LimeSurvey to publish questionaries to NAP providers, collect their information and finally (using custom web application) visualize the information collected.
